Developed by Zócalo Group and M/A/R/C Research, the Recommendation IndexSM provides marketers a way to understand how and why people are recommending individual brands as well as how each brand compares to its overall category - both over time and against competitors.
The Index includes an overall ranking of both positively and negatively recommended brands in addition to the top keywords and phrases used to describe the category. It also creates an industry average in which to benchmark a brand’s success against that of the larger industry.
Each quarter, the Recommendation Index will focus on a new category and publish the top 10 most recommended brands within the category as well as the keywords and phrases most used to positively and negatively recommend them.
